✨ Position Overview

Our client is a global consumer goods organisation operating in over 200 countries with a mission to build a brighter, healthier future for people and the planet. Following structural changes, the company is urgently seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead their therapeutic dental professional oral care portfolio across the UK and Northern Europe – managing products delivered to the end consumer via the dental channel.

This challenging and exciting role is pivotal to the business - driving commercial success and market growth across the portfolio. You'll take strategic ownership of brand performance, managing KPIs including market share and net sales whilst developing compelling annual brand plans. Your work will directly influence how dental professionals engage with our client's brands and how consumers experience oral health solutions. You'll collaborate across European teams, lead innovation initiatives and shape go-to-market strategies that deliver real results in a competitive market.

🎯 Role & Responsibilities

  • Driving market share and revenue growth across the therapeutic and consumer toothpaste portfolio
  • Developing comprehensive brand plans aligned with commercial objectives and market opportunities
  • Managing A&P and Digital budgets strategically to maximise ROI
  • Building and strengthening professional advocacy amongst dental professionals across the region
  • Influencing key opinion leaders and managing relationships to support brand positioning and credibility
  • Partnering with European teams on innovation pipelines and EPD/NPD initiatives
  • Leading GTM strategies for new product launches, ensuring successful market entry
  • Collaborating with specialist Scientific Affairs to deliver staff training and professional education programmes
  • Identify and manage brand risks and opportunities, responding proactively to market changes
  • Communicate brand strategy and performance insights to internal and external stakeholders

🎯 Skills & Achievements Required

  • Robust academic background possibly in a scientific discipline
  • Proven brand management experience in oral care, OTC consumer health, personal care, pharmaceuticals
  • Track record of driving brand growth – revenue, profit, share, brand engagement
  • A good grasp of broad healthcare issues and trends
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, able to understand and interpret market and consumer data
  • Clear, strategic vision with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive brand plans
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple audiences and organisational levels
  • Exceptional leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills, build trusting and credibility
  • Ideally some experience building professional partnerships with healthcare professionals
  • Proven ability to lead change and drive innovation within a commercial environment
  • Experience managing P&L budgets and delivering against commercial KPIs
