Our client is a leading global savoury snacks manufacturer with a strong presence across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. They're seeking an experienced Category Manager to join the team and drive commercial success with a major retail customer.

🔦 Position Overview

You'll act as the lead category advisor for a key retail customer, building strong partnerships and delivering category insights that drive change in store. You'll influence commercial strategy, manage customer relationships and support cross-functional projects that deliver growth.

📒 What you’ll be doing from Day 1

• Lead category strategy and insights for your assigned retail customer
• Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships
• Analyse market data to create strategic commercial recommendations
• Train sales teams on category tools and insights
• Support customer-facing meetings and monthly business reviews
• Manage customer data platform relationships and contracts
• Contribute to seasonal commercial projects and customer presentations
• Share customer learnings across internal teams

🌟What we are looking for

• Degree level qualification
• Category management experience
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills
• Experience with market data software (Nielsen or Kantar)
• Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
• Ability to influence cross-functionally with credibility
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex data
• Relationship building and stakeholder management capability

And preferably;

• Experience with MoreViu or similar customer data platforms
• Understanding of different retail channel dynamics
