Our client is a dynamic £50m+ UK business providing technologically-advanced water softening solutions to UK households. It is seeking a smart, ambitious strategic thinker to work alongside the senior team to lead its omnichannel marketing & growth strategies. Part of a $3bn US group, operating in over 90 markets worldwide with multiple brands, the business has huge ambitions and seeks a hands-on, data-driven marketing leader to take on this exciting challenge.
This role is all about accelerating a growth journey, with visibility, resources and the autonomy to make a measurable difference.
Position Overview
As Head of Brand, you'll take ownership of brand & category strategy, leading the annual planning process and localising global brand platforms for the UK market. You'll drive integrated campaigns across digital and off-line channels, manage relationships with creative agencies and monitor brand performance against key metrics. You'll be the internal brand champion, reporting on ROI and leading a small, collaborative marketing team.
What will that involve?
Brand Strategy Development
· Developing an effective marketing & brand strategy with a strong focus on digital & direct channels, to drive ambitious growth objectives.
· Leading the brand planning process: messaging,campaign calendar, target segmentation.
· Localising global platforms to fit the needs and ambitions of the UK business.
· Working with digital, social, creative and product stakeholders to ensure effective execution.
Driving Growth Through Insight and Performance Tracking
· Tracking performance KPIs and campaign effectiveness.
· Using insights & analytics to recommend strategy improvements and identify growth levers.
· Being the Voice of the Customer, leading local consumer research & analysis initiatives.
· Collaborating with Global and Centre of Excellence teams.
🎨Creating and Delivering Integrated Marketing Campaigns
· Building collateral and messaging assets for new launches and commercial activations.
· Leading integrated creative plans & execution for digital, social, events and off-line channels.
· Using customer insight to shape the optimal Good/Better/Best product mix, balancing brand ambition, customer needs, andcommercial performance.
Supporting the Talent & Culture Agenda
· Leading and developing a team, driving a high performance and engagement culture
About You
You're a well-rounded consumer marketer with a clear understanding of brand strategy and how it drives business performance. You combine strategic thinking with executional focus and brand passion, able to translate positioning and insights into marketing that resonates and performs. You bring both structure and creativity, and know how to connect the dots across channels, functions and teams. You're comfortable localising a global platform or building something from scratch when needed. You don't just 'follow a brief' but shape it to meet business goals.
What sets you apart is your ability to work cross-functionally with clarity and impact - aligning teams, shaping briefs and ensuring consistency from idea to execution. You're comfortable navigating across functions and geographies, keeping the consumer at the centre of decisions.
You'll Need
· Robust experience managing well-known brands in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment. This could be FMCG, electricals/electronics, home services, consumer health care or another branded product category.
· Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking skills, including brand positioning, strategy and architecture; able to define brand direction and translate it into actionable roadmaps.
· Strong track record of building and driving integrated campaigns that blend clear brand storytelling with ambitious performance objectives.
Ideally experience in both structured and entrepreneurially-driven environments, with the ability to thrive in a "big start-up" culture: strategic but hands-on, agile but methodical.
· Commercially and financially astute with a focus on driving growth, leads, revenue and ROI.
· Strong track record of managing multiple agency relationships and creative development, ensuring that you get the best out of their work.
· Deep understanding of digital channels and social media, and its role in driving consumers to engage with the brand.
· Experience of managing a team and building a high-performance culture.
· Resourceful and accountable, owning problems end-to-end, navigating ambiguity and always following through.
