The company is now seeking an experienced a smart and capable analytical thinker to join its team, working as an implant within a major UK grocerycustomer in Leeds. In this busy and important role, you’ll be focused on performance improvement and insight generation, using data analysis to identify trends, highlight risks and support strategic decisions. Your insights will directly influence service levels, cost performance and how the business responds to operational challenges. This role suits someone who enjoys being close tostakeholders and operations, where your analytical work translates into real business outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analysing supply chain performance data and KPIs to identify trends, patterns and emerging risks
  • Producing clear, structured insight and recommendations to support service improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Supporting planning, forecasting and performance review cycles with data-driven analysis
  • Acting as a key link between supply chain operations and commercial stakeholders, communicating findings clearly and succinctly
  • Monitoring service levels proactively and escalating issues before they impact business performance
  • Supporting continuous improvement programs by identifying opportunities and measuring impact using analytical evidence

 

Skills& Experience Checklist

  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in supply chain, operations or performance analysis roles
  • Strong Excel skills and demonstrated ability to analyse large datasets effectively
  • Comfortable interpreting complex data and translating insight for non-technical stakeholders
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach with commercial awareness
  • Experience working in FMCG or retail environments (desirable)
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Based in Yorkshire and happy to work 4 days/week in the central Leeds office
