Lead strategic brand development for this long-established consumer brand with P&L ownership and commercial impact

Shape brand strategy, pricing and growth opportunities through deep consumer insight and market analysis

Drive innovation from concept to market launch, managing the complete NPD/EPD agenda

Build and execute integrated comms campaigns across traditional, digital and social channels

🔦 Position Overview

Now seeking an experiencedSBM to lead a key brand with multiple SKUs, and drive its growth through strategic brand management, team leadership, product innovation and innovative marketing campaigns.  This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career with a company that values strategic thinking, creative problem-solving and strong commercial performance.

 

As SBM, you'll take ownership of UK brand strategy and commercial performance, leading cross-functional teams to deliver growth. You'll develop compelling brand plans grounded in consumer understanding and market trends, manage ££ substantial marketing budgets and drive NPD from concept to commercialisation. Your work will directly impact brand performance, market share and profitability, whilst also supporting the company's international expansion and brand integrity across multiple markets. 🎯

 

📒 What you’ll be doing from Day 1

Developing strategic brand plans based on consumer insight and market analysis, settingclear objectives, priorities and annual targets

Managing brand P&L, monitor performance metrics including volume, sales value, GP andmarket share, identifying growth opportunities

Leading pricing strategy and conduct price elasticity analysis to optimise commercial returns

Creating and managing the innovation funnel, developing new product concepts and taking them through the stage-gate process

Writing compelling NPD briefs and guiding technical teams through the development process

Leading consumer insight/research and market testing to validate brand and product strategies

Developing packaging with design agencies, ensuring brand consistency and market appeal

Managing marketing, comms and media agency relationships, ensuring effective executionacross all media channels

Working closely with Sales & Customer Marketing teams to drive synergy and identify promotional opportunities

Supporting international brand success by ensuring brand integrity, developing local market artwork and learning from global markets

Managing budgets tightly, ensuring accurate allocation and strict financial control

 

🌟What we are looking for

Significant brand marketing experience with FMCG or Consumer Health/OTC brands

Strong track record developing clear and ambitious brand strategies and annual marketing plans

Extensive experience creating and managing ATL, BTL and digital marketing campaigns

Substantial experience leading NPD/EPD from concept generation to commercialisation

Exceptional strategic thinking skills and a can-do attitude

Excellent analytical skills including financial analysis, market research and data interpretation

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills

AdditionalEuropean languages desirable but not essential
